These days making money seems so difficult. There were good old days when we could just develop a website and after a few months, we could see money flowing into our accounts because of advertisements and affiliate links.

But today things have changed a lot. You can't just create a website and start getting money for showing advertisements or affiliate products and services.

Some experts say to have a niche-specific website, and others say that you should create an e-commerce website to have success in website development and making money online dream.

Still, websites like Wikipedia and Wikihow are making money and sustaining with their small number of staff members.

Plus these days website development is so normal thing as if it should be your core skill in any domain. Just like in the past, we used to have short-hand experts and typing experts, but today typing is done by everyone.

It is not a specialized skill anymore.

You need to know how to type in any domain these days and people who don't know are getting out of the teams as fast as someone changes their soiled clothes.

Similarly, website development is a skill that is becoming so common these days that every organization is expecting everyone to know how to do it and even all the content writers have started building their own websites.

Also, these websites are not just simple, they have started creating more technical websites daily. No one wants to create only blogs. They want to develop their own websites to have an online presence.

The number of websites online has increased so much that now to rank your website on a particular keyword seems next to impossible if you are not using any paid advertisements.

But what is the Making Money Paradox?

Making Money Paradox defines a phenomenon where sending money from one person to another has become so easy and it seems as if anyone can make money these days with less effort, but the reality is totally different.

For example, in Bharat (India), we have new ways of transferring money and every one of us uses wallets like Google Pay, PayTM or Bharat Pay, etc, it seems how easily we are send money to others or shopkeepers, and it seems if sending money become so easy, then why we are not able to make money.

There are so many experts who say that you can make money by simply creating your own website and adding some advertisements and affiliate links, and most of the things actually make sense on paper at least, but when we actually try to execute it, then the reality hits hard.

When we see that we have developed the website, but there is no traffic or if there is some traffic but not substantial even when your website is 3 or maybe 4 years old, then we realize that the income that you make is in cents and not in dollars, this actually demotivates you.

Having said that even if we think of doing business offline, these days we need a person with strong interpersonal skills because talking to people and selling your products and services is also another level of talent and requires skills.

Adding to this, not many people talk about businesses being just "chillar generators", because most of the side businesses are not sustainable because of the amount of debt to revenue ratio we have these days. If someone loses their job, then it will become next to impossible to sustain even the business that they do.

Then there are banks and financial institutions that trust in power and money more than a trustworthy person.

Our banks give loans to fraudsters, but they don't give loans even to a person who has a good credit history and has never defaulted even a single time in his or her life. These institutes are another level of hypocrites as they will ask you to show money before giving you money.

Banks will give you money only when you can show them that you don't actually need it.

I receive around 15 to 20 calls daily from different banks who ask me to take a loan or buy their credit card. This is so amazing to see them push me to take their loan or top-ups or overdrafts because I never signed up to receive their calls, but these banks have so good transparency for each one of them, that if one of them received your number, then they will keep on sharing your number until each one of the salespeople on earth has received it.

When I say that I don't need a loan, instead send me money through the same UPI or Digital Rupee that is managed by these financial institutes, they become silent and cut the phone.

Well, it's not their fault, those kids (sales team) have their targets to call "x" number of phone numbers, and they have to do it every single day, so they will call you for no reason. It's just a matter of your number getting leaked by one of the bankers.

Credit Beauroes like CIBIL have so much monopoly over these financial institutions that it's like government office these days. You cannot connect with them and ask to remove wrong inquiries being done by bankers.

It's a story for another day. I had a really bad experience with CIBIL, and I feel they are the most corrupt organization in Bharat (India). I bet no one actually does an Audit of that firm as well, and if done, then this institute will get liquidated because of the fraud and inefficient processes that they have.

Plus the funny part is that banks trust this institute and they are also same crime of selling account holder's data. Although they have already taken consent from every one of us while opening a bank account that they will share your details to credit bureau as well, and now you can do nothing about it.

Now within these scenarios, when people say to make money, it seems as if it is next to impossible to do so, and that is because we are not having any financial backing to do the same.
