I was going through one of the forums online where people were discussing if SEO is dead or not. Some people said that SEO has been dead for more than 10 years now, and some were saying that it is not dead.
However, both of the parties didn't have any substantial proof to back up their claim.
Search Engines like Google planned this death long before bloggers accepted it or even anticipated it by plagiarizing bloggers' content and tools on the search bar itself. Internet surfers now don't have to go to websites to get their answers. Answers have a new location now and that is the same for every single thing that is;
SEO was dead long ago and all of us were just talking about "PSO" - Paid Search Optimization
But hey, no one got it for all these years.
Try to understand - You develop a website, and now you want traffic to flow to your website, but this never happens, even if you keep on posting awesome content and optimize your website for keywords and search engines.
But if you are ready to pay for traffic to Google or any other search engine or even to social media networks like Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, then you can get some traffic.
It has now become a business tactic for all these tech giants to gain as much profit as possible using the website owners.
This all is part of "Paid Search Optimization (PSO)".
All these years Digital Marketing Agencies have always relied on PSO techniques in the name of SEO, which has never happened for any company so far. The only was way either to be the older website in competition or to have a good cult following.
However, for a newbie, both of these are not possible and hence they have to go for PSOs.
Plus after the advent of AI-generated content, Search Engines are just plagiarizing bloggers' content and we are just quiet. Just spinning words and presenting them to internet surfers with links to websites doesn't make it unique.
I have even observed that sometimes these links are broken and will not take us to the correct websites. I believe this is also a way to retain internet surfers on AI Platforms rather than allowing them to go to other websites.
If you feel otherwise, I would rather ask you to back up your opinion with proofs and post it in this thread. I have given my take with facts that are already available online.
